Residence in the UK after BREXIT
Spanish veterinarians will be able to work in the United Kingdom by meeting the requirements described here.
Veterinarians arriving in the UK from January 1, 2021:
They must apply for a visa (Skilled Worker Visa) when there is a job offer on the table. Costs are around £464 for a visa of less than 3 years and £928 for more than 3 years.
Demonstrate the appropriate level of English according to the RCVS. The government will not require this level of English
when applying for the visa since they must comply with the RCVS language requirements.
The veterinary center must act as a sponsor (UK Visa Sponsorship). Salary must be at least £32,500 a year.
Immigration Points System - "Points-Based Immigration System".
This system allows veterinarians from the EEA (including Spain) to work in the United Kingdom by having 90 points of the 70 minimum points to reside in the United Kingdom.
